We were warmly greeted by a lady, the aunt, as we soon found out, including information about the rest of the family. The vintner, Imre Kattra and his daughter, Agnes Kattra, run the winery. They have quite a few white wines on their wine list like Reisling, Chardonnay, Cserszegi Fűszeres, Királyleányka, and Savignon Blanc. They also have a rosé from Pinot Noir, which is also very good, and luckily we still have a bottle here at home stashed away. Last night we ate steak and I opened a bottle of their Pinot Noir. Here’s what we thought: The wine is clear with a light pomegranate color, has aromas of medium intensity, fruity, and spicy. The scent of strawberries is most intense, with a whiff of vanilia at the end. Soft, gently acidity, medium tanins, ripe flavors, you can’t really feel that this is such a young wine. Medium long finish. This is a very good bottle of wine. » Hosszászólás írása
